Introduction/Why I chose my site

I chose to do the Heuristic Evaluation of the website for the company my mother works for. My mother works for a small insurance company based in Kansas City called Chris-Leef General Insurance Agency. I chose to do the evaluation on this site since I know both the people who have helped build the site but also the company. I know that they may benefit from any of the feedback the evaluation produces. I also know from using the site and talking to my mother that the site has some issues that the developers are struggling with so I thought it would be interesting to see how users may face these issues compared to the issues that the developers see on the back side of the site.
